Physical Education should not be treated as a subject that needs attention only a day before the test. The syllabus contains factual material, but many topics become easier when you connect them with actual sports, exercise, nutrition and health.
In Unit Test I, Management of Sporting Events carries 6 marks, Yoga carries 5 marks, and Children and Women in Sports carries 4 marks. Plan your revision time accordingly, but do not leave the 4-mark topic until the end.
Unit Test II contains four units. Test & Measurement in Sports carries the highest weightage of 5 marks, followed by Physical Education & Sports for CWSN with 4 marks. Sports & Nutrition and Physiology & Injuries in Sports carry 3 marks each.
For factual topics, make short lists and tables. For example, when studying tests, measurements, sports injuries or nutritional requirements, keep the name, purpose and main points together. This makes last-minute revision much easier.
My advice to students: Do not simply read the names of yoga practices, tests, injuries or sports terms. Try to recall their purpose, procedure, benefits, precautions or other details required by the topic.
Also remember that Physical Education is closely connected with practical life. Whenever possible, relate a theory topic to an actual sport, training session, exercise or health situation. It will make the material easier to remember and easier to explain in your own words.
