Notice writing is one of the most common questions in the Class XII English Writing Skills section. It tests a student’s ability to convey information clearly, briefly, and in an organised manner.
This tutorial explains the concept, rules, format, and examples of notices to help you score full marks in exams and improve your real-life communication skills.
What is a Notice?

- Formal in tone – no personal comments or unnecessary details.
- Well-structured with proper format.

2. The word NOTICE (in bold/uppercase, centred)
